Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There is another storm dragon in the cave and it's a female. This is Thesira. She was found as an egg by Asiron, who is now her permanent mate. She and Asiron share a hollow and live together. Thesira is a fierce warrior as well, conjuring winds and lightning so fierce that they'll disintegrate a dragon right on the spot. Humans have nicknamed her, Zeus's Dragon both because her name sounds rather Greek and because of her powers. But, behind all the fierceness and toughness, Thesira has a good heart and a pure soul. This wise female, using her goodness, found her way to Silveera, the legendary silver dragon, to seek her advice. Thesira is loyal and would never even be tempted, much less bribed, into betraying her family, the ones who rescued her and kept her from dying outside the cave entrance, and the ones who gave her a home after being abandoned outside by her parents.
