Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jennony is perhaps the laziest Skywing dragon to ever hatch in Galsriem. There is nothing he likes more than stretching his wings out on under the warm, inviting sun and sleeping the day away from the top of a tall peak. He claims his constant rest breaks are due to an old, long-healed injury that supposedly left his serpentine form unable to bend properly, but even if one had never seen his graceful flight they can hear the exhausted boredom in his mental voice when he speaks of flying. To him, flying is only fun if he hits a large tailwind. Otherwise, it's far too much work. He has been known to pull daring stunts in storms, however. The strong winds are too much for even a lazy "snake" like Jennony to resist.
