Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Vellathia is a sweet dragon, her father a greedy dragon who is very vain did not want her. In fact he didn't even want to breed her. Her mom (a mint) had to persuade him. After she was bred her father dumped her. She was a late bloomer but other than that she was great in her new house. She married a water and now breeds blue kids. She is also a Dorkface but discovered this after she was named because her mom was not named correctly, though her Grandma is.
