Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. His name means "Archangel" in Japanese. He is a son of Norio and Eri, and is the first White-Striped dragon hatched to them. He was raised with his nest-mates and siblings Mitsukai and Yairochou, and is very close to them. He is a tiny bit bigger than a lot of the other striped dragons, which is great since his mate isn't one. He met Onwa when his family was having a gathering of Striped dragons. There were lots of girls there, but none of them caught his eye, that is until he saw Koutei and Kuma-Gera's daughter Onwa. He'd never seen such a tiny Moonstone dragon before, while her father was huge compared to the Striped dragons gathered round, Onwa was tiny like her mother. Daitenshi was instantly intrigued by the little dragon, and went over to introduce himself. They hit it off real good, and they made plans to see each other again. Soon they were courting, and on a beautiful winter day, they had their mating ceremony. They love each other so much, and they always will.
