Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blusangs are revered by humans for their beauty, and this female was an exceptionally lovely example of the breed. Sharp in mind, quick to laugh, and seeming to shine wherever the sun struck her, she was courted by male dragons up and down the coast, all without success, for she would accept only the mate who completed her.

But one night, when the sky was thick with storm clouds and an ominous wind bit at the waves, a most unusual Silver dragon came calling. Where no other had succeeded, his attempts to woo her went perfectly well... until her keen eyes spotted the sorcery involved and allowed her to escape him. The Silver was enraged, for no one had ever thwarted his magic before, and it was in his hatred that he cursed her. Her memories destroyed in the blink of an eye, she wandered the coast in pain and confusion until a far more gentle Silver dragon took her in, the two soon developing feelings for one another... never realizing, through her amnesia, that they were half-siblings.
