Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. OkaaChi found him wandering in the forest as a hatchling. The scared and hungry little dragonet was so starved for attention; that he ran towards her, and hide under her belly, chirping lightly. OkaaChi consoled the youngling, and brought him home. OtouChi and OkaaChi took good care of the youngling; they fed him, cleaned him up, and comforted him. Turns out, his egg had been abandoned, and he hatched all alone in the wilderness. He'd been starving and lonely as long as he'd lived. His new mom and dad made sure that he only knew happiness from then on. She named him "Jewel" in Japanese. He's grown into a strong, handsome, and confident dragon. He's part of a large and prominent family within the colony, and has one of the most beautiful mates around. He is mated to Terasu, a gorgeous female Tinsel, and the love of his life. They met at a social gathering, and it was love at first sight. They've both had rough beginnings, but are so lucky to have found happiness and love in each other.
