It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Though Purple dragons seem tender and kind, Ayokeist likes fighting for sport. She trains Desertriders' hatchlings to grow strong and able to defend. Despite possessing an ability to use mana, Ayokeist doesn't use any magic-powered abilities. Instead, she uses her muscles to "defeat" a hatchling or a dragon, and sometimes even uses her whisker-like growths on her head to tangle her enemy in. Of course, when she trains hatchlings, this, compared with her bigger size, is an unfair advantage, and mothers often scold her for this. Not like she minds, especially considering how many complaints like this she had heard through her life. The truth is, she's fighting to ease the stress that surrounds her, to forget those who call her reckless and stupid. She's never too hard on the children, though. They admire Ayokeist's fighting skills and look up to her. Her favourite attack is leaping on a victim from above and catching them off-guard.
