Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cyan is lighter blue in color than the other Lunaris dragons; in the right light, he takes on almost a greenish tint. Timid and often unable to express himself, he is often roped into accompanying other dragons in their ventures, whether or not he wants to.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the Tribe, though, Cyan's den contains a hidden hoard of "souvenirs" from each major event that he witnesses- foreign devices picked up on migrations, animal bones recovered after a fire, glowing stones found on adventures with Tallyn and Aluya, and so on. Cyan associates these objects with memories of where and when he found them; when he looks at them, the memories instantly come flooding back. By hoarding these bits and pieces, he has compiled an accurate history of goings-on in the Tribe, beginning with the day he started the "memory collection". Now if only he had some other dragon to share his memories with.
