White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Florence Lightheart is the matriarch of the Maple Glen cave. She is soft spoken and gentle. Although she is ill suited to combat, she keeps a firm grip on her caves leadership, even amongst powerful and warlike species. Gentle words of praise and the promise of healing if wounded give fierce warriors heart, and hatchlings reassurance. Occasionally a hotheaded fighter or mischievous hatchling will receive a vexed glare, which is generally enough to embarrass them back into civilized behavior.<br/>With no steady mate, she courts as she pleases, though she is discreet about such things. Florence loves bright mornings. When not playing with hatchlings or tending to sparring injuries, she can be seen at the mouth of her cave, sun basking with her wings outstretched, permitting the suns golden rays to filter through her feathers.
