Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amphoros is friendly to other dragons, but is also very mysterious to many. He spends part of his time exploring outside the cave with a friend of his, Cresselia. He usually does not come back till most the dragons are asleep, but Cresselia comes home sooner. Amphoros doesn't really have a best friend, he gets along with them all, though. He does like to explore alone, as well. He's a real mystery, which he sometimes feel as if Cresselia likes him because he is different, and has bred with her and got their first egg, but neither of them want to breed again, but that's because they don't want any more eggs right now.
