Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being thought of as a generally dumb dragon, Novo Tsuno hasn't done much to dissuade this perception. Indeed, in most of his ventures he is less than average. He isn't as silent and light on his feet, he isn't as fast or flexible in the air, he will miss most of the relatively easy kills on hunts. As such, the other dragons are always surprised when he has one of his moments of brilliance.

Because when he gets an idea  and most of the time, they're of the crazy variant  it catches fire until it goes up to light the sky like a firework. Whether it is such a mundane think as gathering fruits or something as complex as protecting the borders of their territory  everyone knows that when he gets that glint in his eyes that they're going to be surprised by whatever he comes up with that time.
