Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Exdee is a friendly, joyful dragon. She, like many Daydream Dragons, always has her head in the clouds both figuratively and literally. Because she spends so much time on her own, some of the dragons view her as self-centered. She met her mate, Eternus Divum, when she was sitting on her cloud as usual. The young Skywing was flying along, not looking where he was going and flew right into her.  After that, Exdee came to love the slightly egoistic dragon. The other dragons generally are patient with her scatterbrained temperament, except Electric Heart of the Devil, who periodically refers to Exdee as 'that ditz'. She is quite interested in humans, though occasionally her curiosity is mistaken for aggression. As a result of that, she has several scars. The hatchlings a fascinated by her scars, and will often ask for a story. So she'll tell them some crazy story- a different one every time, because she can never remember what she said before!
