Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Selania is part of the Hoarders, a group of dragons who have hoards. She loves sparkly objects like crazy, even if they have no value whatsoever. She is an amazing flyer, too. Whenever the sun shines its golden rays, she is out flying. If a dragon is sad, they just look up at her and get a little happier.

She is always playing around, having fun. Whenever an egg hatches, she dances and sings for it, welcoming it to the world.
