Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ax used to be a part of the legendary Blip Upbuild's flight. He was bigger and stronger than the average Black dragon, so everyone knew he would be Blip's pick. The heroine soon gave birth to their wonderful son, Putej... and that's when it all went out of hand. A gigantic rift of magical field called The Hole appeared, permanently corrupting Ax. He first obeyed evil dragons, to the point where he would trap his flightmates by their command and guard them. But soon even they couldn't control Ax, and now he belongs to no one, no longer a powerful defender of his flight, but its biggest threat.
