Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aelis Kusuma is a hardworking dragon who generally helps out with other dragons' habitats. He will fly out of the cave just before dawn, gathering items other dragons need. For example, Aelis can be seen hovering over Thorny Valley's numerous briars, searching for herbs Safi-dhaval needs for his apothecary, or collecting rich soil from the Sun Meadow to help Sanjiva Tafari grow strong vines. Aelis is good friends with Candida Hajna, who as an albino cannot be in full daylight (but dearly wishes to). Aelis will quietly converse with her as he basks in the light of the sunrise, then move out of the cave in the afternoon to fly with Kaimana Kalani, Ludivine, and the other (able) dragons. He is kind to everyone, although he has never fully understood the plight of gloomy Idoya Desideria. He hopes that his master will find more "sun" eggs and raise them as sunrises to give him company, but the demands of all of the other dragons leave him on a long waiting list.
