Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Despite being a showoff, Roaring Ocean Waves is overall quite well-liked by most of the other dragons, aside from Lullaby's Loon, who blatantly shows her dislike for Roaring every time that they meet, turning her back on him when he comes near and viciously chasing him away from her solitary lake in the forest if he chances to come near it.  This odd behavior on her part is attributed to the fact that Roaring enjoys chasing fish and other sea creatures about the ocean, seeming to revel in their fear of him.  Because of this odd obsession of his, Lullaby's Loon often worries for the well-being of the loons on her lake when Roaring is nearby and she takes it upon herself to make sure that no harm comes to her friends.  For his part, Roaring knows nothing of the reasoning behind Lullaby's Loon's ferocious attacks on him. He knows only that he is the only dragon in the cave who is truly terrified of Lullaby's Loon and he cannot understand why the others try to force her to speak so often.
