The egg faded away completely; in its place there’s a cute baby dragon. It doesn’t seem to have much substance, though.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Shadou-oka loves to scare other dragons. He becomes a quiet mist when they think that they are alone until he is right on their tail; then he materializes and pounces on them, scaring them silly. Most dragons do not think that his prank is very funny. If he scares them more than once, they become very paranoid and are always looking over their shoulder, never feeling really alone.

His name means shadow walker.
