Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Hoovana once loved a dragon named Aingler. They would meet each other in the same place every day, and, eventually, they bred. "DandyDragon is the most beautiful colt in the world," she would always say. Hoovana was not the type to mate for life. Aingler, however, thought she would stay with him forever. When Hoovana bred with Aduh, Aingler became overcome with grief. He even went to the extent of killing his only son. Hoovana tried to revive him, but she made a dire mistake. She made the attempt on Halloween, and DandyDragon became a zombie. He changed his own name to LivingProof. When Aingler saw what his only son had become, he killed himself in anguish. Hoovana decided that, after all that had happened, she would stay single for life.
