Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
In a world where owning dragons is as common as owning dogs, it is only a code of honor amongst dragon tamers that has kept the land from descending into fiery war.
However, as some people might say, rules exist to be broken.
One particular sorcerer, bored of following laws in which his mighty beasts had to be rendered harmless, chose to depart for lands unknown with his first and most beloved dragon, a hellfire female named Purgia. He descended into a country in which dragons were virtually unknown, and has maintained a reign of terror there ever since, sending his beast to destroy all who oppose him. And Purgia, who loves chaos nearly as much as she loves her master, is more than content to comply.
