Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Equus is the Latin word for Horse. Bellator is the Latin adjective for courageous, brave, warlike, and when both words are used together it means warhorse. Equus is a very fast runner, and often loves to race with Whiptails, though he often gets left in the dust. He is a very brave fighter and will never back down from a fight.

Though it may not seem to be in Equus' character, but he has a weird thing about butterflies. When ever he sees one of those elegant orange and black monarchs, he has to chase them down. The butterflies don't seem to mind it though; they seem to actually like it. Equus has quite a collection of these little beauties in his cave, they stay there not by force, but because they like Equus. He may be the only dragon to have ever cared about them.
