Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The Song of the Svyataya Anna lives in the arctic cold, bringing in rolling fog across the freezing water and sea ice to mask her presence while she flies freely. She's a quiet, solitary dragon, and the only dragons she goes out of her way to see are Against It All, Storms So Sweetly, and Heartbreak Crusade, who she considers family.
Among humans who live so far north, and among humans either brave or reckless enough to venture farther, seeing Svyataya Anna (or hearing her wings, her "song") is an omen of misfortune. Any ship that sees her is likely to become trapped in the ice.
Really, Anna is fascinated by ships, and likes to watch any that sail into her territory. Ships that try to chase her or flee from her in the midst of her fog trap themselves. Ships that leave her be are only impeded for a short time. However they act, Anna rarely intervenes; she neither dislikes nor cares for humans, despite being mildly curious about what they make and do. Abandoned ships become her homes.
