Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Dr. Notta is with his father in the whole "germs" conspiracy. One would think he was trying to ward of vampires with all the garlic he puts in food. Dr. Notta heals people with his patented "germ"-killing techniques. He, like his father, is very likely insane, but dragons seem to feel better after coming to him. They also positively reek of garlic. With the garlic and vinegar duo working to stop "germs", you can't help but wonder if these "germs" avoid bad smells. That is, of course, only a working theory if "germs" actually exist, which they probably don't.
