Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Soyokaze lives near the coastal cliffs on the western side of the caves inhabited by Sylvain's family, and spends most of his time in open water. Occasionally, when one of his older siblings seeks him out, he will bring fish or seaweed to the caves for the younger hatchlings. Soyokaze is overwhelmingly curious by nature, and will sometimes follow small fishing or traveling ships for hours. He also enjoys watching seabirds in flight during the more windy days.
