White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. As her kind are known for, Kaia is an especially gifted healer, however, ever since she was a very young hatchling, she has also had the ability of premonition and to sometimes speak to the dearly departed in her dreams. One night, she saw the soul of a gray dragon pass to the other world, asking Kaia a favor before she departed. Kaia awoke that morning and set out to the next mountain beside hers, she did not know the terrain but she felt in her heart the place she was to go. Hidden in a pile of rocks in an oddly misty area lay an egg. She took the egg back with her and raised the wily dragon as her own. He grew up believing she was his mother, she hid the truth from him to spare him grief.
