Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Given to fits of temper and shunned by the others in the cave, she crawled away and made her home in a lovely sun lit clearing, where she was happy as one could be with few visitors. She made friends with a blue bird and was thrilled when it did choose to nest inside her vines, the eggs were well guarded and the babies protected from preying animals, which she gladly ate when they came seeking the chirping chicks. When they flew away she mimicked their cries and was well able to feed herself. When food was scarce she would cry out and a kind being would bring food until she was able again to feed herself. She watched the being with longing, remembering kind touches from the hands that now did not come to near for fear of being hurt. And the being knew that this one loved her in it's own special way but the nature of the beast made touching impossible.
