Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Afain is the first male dragon to join the Great Weather Manipulation Project (GWMP).  Over the centuries, the storms that sweep his world are becoming more and more violent. Many are beginning to fear that the end of their world is coming due to the fierce nature of these massive tempests. When he joined, Afain was certain he could bring an air of respectability to the project and help it be taken seriously. The female members all laughed at Afain, certain that sexism was beyond dragonkind. Unfortunately for the ladies, but fortunately for GWMP, Afain's presence did make the Project more reputable. Afain became the unofficial spokesman of the Project and has done his best to spread the word of it around.
