Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Broken Stone" in Japanese. He is a son of Hiroshi, Hitoshi, Hiromi, and Hitomi. When his egg was brought to the valley, it was indeed broken. There was a large and nasty crack down the middle. Most of the other dragons were too afraid to take the egg in, knowing that the hatchling would likely either die, or be deformed. However, HiroshiHitoshi and HiromiHitomi all decided that between the four of them they could certainly handle one baby, so they patched it up and waited. They waited and waited for their egg to hatch, but it didn't. Finally their hatchling arrived, but very late, they watched him carefully for the next few days, but couldn't find anything wrong. Miraculously, Wariguri managed to hatch into a perfectly healthy individual. He had a perfect childhood, and when he grew up he became mated to Shinkiro, one of the most beautiful females in the colony. They are madly in love, and always will be. Despite his rough beginnings, he has truly been blessed.
