Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alxo was found abandoned as an egg along side a Lunar Herald egg also collected by her owner. Alxo and the Lunar Herald dragon, Elianor grew up as twins and have never fought each other. She is a generally happy natured beast and always thumps her tail on the ground when she wants to play or wants attention. Alxo generally sleeps during the day and protects her adopted family at night as well as hunting for her fellow carnivores. She isn't much of a fan of hatchlings and makes sure they know to stay away. She doesn't use her magic as much as other Black Dragons, tending to use her speed and advantage in the dark to fight.
