This is a baby chick, not a dragon. So what was it doing in the dragons’ cave?

DaringChick is a brave little chick. Even though he lives in a huge cave of dragons far larger than him, DaringChick doesn't back down from a confrontation. Most adult dragons just find him adorable, so they take care not to hurt him. Hatchlings are usually more interested in playing with him, some not in a very gentle way. But he has a sharp beak, and rushes right at the hatchlings. DaringChick will peck at toes and scratch with his sharp claws. So far, no hatchling has been seriously harmed though he's gotten some good pecks in eyes or at tender toes that have landed a hatchling or two in the cave's clinic. The clinic's healers have also helped with the scratches and bruises that DaringChick has gotten. Overall, the cave is greatly amused by DaringChick.
