Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Cavyle Plains is a place spoken about in folklore, as being the edge of the world and a place where the sun kisses the ground. In reality, it's a giant mirage, kept in existence by a Magi Dragon named Lanceea, and supplemented by a Soulpeace named Pelara.

Pelara's role in the Cavyle Plains mirage is ensuring the place always keeps its purpose. Since it is designed as a safe haven for poached dragons' offspring, Pelara always ensures no unauthorized creature can see or enter the plains. But, for the dragons who can and also manage to make it, their children are taken in and given wonderful care, raised by Pelara while she keeps the barrier up. She is a very free-spirit type of parent to young hatchlings, encouraging them in the right ways yet always doing her own thing. Many dragons who have been raised in the Cavyle Plains have grown up to be learned practitioners of powerful magic, all thanks to Pelara.
