Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Growing up, he heard tales somewhat like those that human children hear—of human knights destroying dragons to get at their gold, treasures, or their maidens. Somewhere along the path to adulthood, he seemed to have dropped any ability to learn linguistically. Having no want or need for such mannerisms, this dragon's sole purpose, it seems, is to hoard his own treasure and let the knights come for him. If any see Daisent or his crudely excavated cave, the warning to them would be to keep walking and to not stop to pass the time of day; his mouth is full of murderous fire, not words.
