When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
One of the few surviving brood of the Philippine dragon Buwaya. His mate already slain, Buwaya used the last of his strength to hide the last eggs as Spanish Conquistadores plundered his gold hoard and destroyed his children.
Buwaya's Blood hatched in time to see what the humans had done. Charged with his father's dying words to "avenge and protect", Buwaya followed the Spanish ships out to sea. He observed how the natives (friends of his father) were treated in the same manner as his family infuriated him even more.
In his journey to catch up to Spanish ships he crossed paths with Baconaua's Fang, another orphaned dragon due to the Conquistadores' greed. Both dragons caught up to the ships on the high seas. All but one ship was torn apart by dragons' blind fury. The last ship suffered a worse fate. All aboard were slain by the dragons and the ship sent back to Spain as a warning to those who would disturb a dragon's home.
