Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ciel de Amour enjoys flying the skies of Paris along with her fellow daydream dragon friends. She eats marshmallows and marmalade, as well as merguines. She enjoys drinking cream, and she sleeps on a fluffy white cloud that travels all over the world so that she will be able to daydream and fantasize while flying through Europe, Asia, even Antarctica! She has no spouse, for she is a free-willed dragon and does not like to be "held-down by marriage" as she puts it in her own terms. She uses her long tail to slide down candy for all the poor children while she is flying through the air. Every winter, she travels to England, were she makes snow balls into snow drops and hands out bouquets to all the citizens passing by.
