Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It sleeps a lot, but when it’s awake, it’s quite a handful.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Fluff Huff demanded that Barkbear should be frozen the moment he hatched, as he was not a Fluff-family Pillow dragon and yet he lived in their cave. Mad1022 insisted that it didn't matter and every dragon should be treated the same. All of Mad1022's dragons picked sides, and so the "Fluff War" was started. It was simply a period of several days, in which dragons argued and often fought. Finally, Mad102 agreed to freeze Barkbear, and now the poor dragon looks like a mixture of a dog, a cat, and a baby bear—hence the name Barkbear.
