Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Anklegator is why guests do not enjoy coming to visit, as many of them are quite sensitive in having chunks of foot bitten off. Anklegator has built herself quite a reputation in terms of ankle munching as well as crafting. Her what-would-be-humble abode is decorated with many wooden carvings and statuettes, sometimes adorned with jewels, depicting stories and characters. Now and then she gets too excited about her creations and accidentally lets out a lick of flame, charring her tiny, meticulously carved pieces. A gentle beast often seen as intimidating due to her rare breed, she is a good example of one not to be judged by the radiance of her scales.
