Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Heeyato loves the summer time, as this is the season his colours depict. Even on the hottest of days in summer, when most other Dragons are bathing in the lakes to try and cool off, Heeyato will be racing through the sky on his bright yellow wings, skimming the canopy, or soaking up the suns warmth on one of the large rocks that surround his cave. Heeyato is a Dragon that loves comfort, and so has covered the floor with heather so that he is comfortable. As winter comes around, Heeyato will start building up this layer of heather, piling it high so that, when the snow starts, he is still as warm as he is in the summer time. His brilliant green scales turn darker as the chill of winter begins to creep across the land until, by the time it really is winter, his scales are almost black in colour. Heeyato has a very bright, happy nature, and no matter what the situation he never seems to get angry.
