Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Melinoe is a highly vain and narcissistic dragon, always preening herself to ensure her scales look their best. She is especially careful around areas she deems dirty or unclean, which is basically anywhere that isn't a high-up mountain cliff. She finds the presence of snow and ice to be cleansing and comes alive during the winter months. Contrarily, she becomes more agitated in the spring and summer. She applies this same mentality of clean and not-clean to other dragons as well. She will not go anywhere near a "filthy" dragon until they have scrubbed every part of themselves down. She all but rejects her mother, White the Albino, since she is constantly dripping with oil. Once she deems somebody as clean enough to hang out with, it is common to realize just how shallow she is. Melinoe doesn't seem to think of much at all, just staying clean and looking nice. It's almost pitiable how little she cares about anything else. She is generally friendly toward the few she accepts.
