It’s an undead baby dragon, produced by a failed magical spell. It probably would be cute if it weren’t partially decayed.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

AReO was once a Whiptail hatchling . Penny did not like AReO so she decided to kill it at night when all her family members had gone to bed. Later that night, Penny took AReO along and went to the kitchen to take a knife. She threw it at one corner and started stabbing it repeatedly. After being stabbed several times, AReO finally took one last glance at Penny and closed its teary eyes . Penny didn't even bother when she saw it crying and simply went to bed. After a few hours, something weird happened to it. AReO's remain came back to life after being revived by a water dragon that came into Penny's house that night. But it wasn't a Whiptail hatchling anymore. Instead, it became an undead zombie hatchling. AReO and the water dragon left Penny's house and they never came back to visit Penny ever again. A few days later, AReO met many friends like Dorsal dragons, Water Walkers, White dragons and many more to play with.
