Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Pyros are easily the heaviest of all Xenowyrm subspecies and they use their weight to their advantage. If scorching their foes with flames doesn’t finish them off, Pyros will use the weight of their bodies for sheer crushing power. They create their lairs solely in volcanic regions, where lava and billowing flames are the land’s most prominent features.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Danro makes his home in a caldera near an active volcano. The relatively flattened area offers him an expansive view of the surrounding terrain, which he is tasked to watch over because of the hidden repositories of fire mana that lie deep within the volcano. Sometimes fragments of this mana slip out into the beds of volcanic glass and debris, and when this happens, Danro ventures out to collect the crystallized mana by shattering the obsidian and forcibly extracting the crystals. It is these crystals that keep his living cavern almost swelteringly hot, but Danro doesn't mind the aura of the fire mana; rather, he says that the heat makes him feel at home.
