Skysilk Dragons spend their days drifting through the heavens, their voluminous manes billowing like clouds. Imbued with air mana, their fluffy fur is incredibly lightweight—so much so that it defies gravity, taking on a mind of its own as it puffs upward. This property makes them quite popular among avian species—birds flock together for the opportunity to play among a Skysilk’s fleecy crown. Docile and patient, Skysilks are quite tolerant of this treatment, with hatchlings in particular developing tight-knit friendships with their feathered visitors. Interestingly, their lustrous scales always retain their dull gleam, despite the frequent presence of tiny critters.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Avian is much like her sister, Glisten. In fact, the two are so similar, they are often mistaken for one another. Their close family is involved in scamming operations and theft. They travel the land, searching out new dragons to take advantage of. Both Avian and Glisten don't seem to share in this practice, however, and, sometimes, don't even seem to recognize their family is apart of it. Avian, at least, seems a little more aware than Glisten. She's quiet, just like her, but seems to have an almost darker aura. Avian just always seems more aware of her environment and those in it, unlike Glisten, who always seems to be in a daze. This kind of awareness makes Avian almost kind of creepy, since she very often sneaks around in silence, observing those around her. When she isn't doing that, she's settled by Glisten's side, usually enjoying the presence of her special bird menagerie. Avian seems the most at ease here, although it can be hard to tell with how expressionless her face is.
