Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wintrus Ice Fang is a seasonal winter dragon of the Iron roar Clan. He is generally calm but when enraged will usually lose his thinking and can turn his opponents into ice. At some point in his hatchling years, he got into a fight with another youngster and they battled in the middle of the whole clan; he fought hard and delivered a mighty bite to his opponent and after that the whole clan saw one of his fangs glittering and forming a cool fog around it and since then he attained the title "Ice Fang". He grew up wielding the power of the winter and fell in love with the most beautiful female dragon in the clan—the daydream dragon named Levana Dream Shifter. After sometime their love produced a winter egg, which made Wintrus and Levana very happy. Unfortunately, the egg died and Wintrus and Levana's sadness prevented them to produce another egg for a quite long time. Now he got two mates and got offspring that he could tell the tale of his title.
