Equinox Dragons are a highly vocal, migratory breed, easy to find when they are traveling through an area and incredibly scarce otherwise. They are extremely skilled at following dates and times based off the movement of the sun and the moons, and follow their lengthy migration routes like clockwork. Large flocks of Equinoxes can darken the skies, and their calls, which sound like eerie flutes, can be heard from a great distance. Equinoxes are very social, and hatchlings are cared for communally by the entire group—it’s rare to see a solitary Equinox, and any stragglers who don’t have a flock will often attempt to join groups of other breeds of dragon.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Wherever he goes, Onkyo carries an enchanted book and quill with him, which he uses to record information on the plants and animals he encounters during his flock's migration travels. It makes him rather proud to be able to predict things like what kind of fruits are currently in season, or which prey are more abundant at a given time. Of course, to obtain the encyclopedic knowledge contained in his enchanted book, Onkyo has become known as somewhat of a fervent question-asker. Since he's frequently pestering those around him to report what they've seen and heard, the elder dragons of the flock have assigned him to teaching the hatchlings how to forage for food.
