Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Price of Oblivion certainly seems like a very ladylike dragon when she's first met. She'll treat all her guests with courtesy, be a gracious host, do everything the proper way and make sure that they're comfortable.

It's only when the relationship, the intimacy, develops when the new friend realizes just how insane she really was. And that's when they realize why they were constantly warned to stay away from her.

She picks fights with those that she seemingly wouldn't have a chance of beating, only to have a "glitch" occur and the other dragon to lose. She'll talk about how she can't die—the glitches won't allow it. She talks about how horrors in her head speak to her and how oblivion can only come at a price.

It's how she got her name, after all.

And there are moments where she'll say she's on top of the world, only to fall down and speak of how she would like to die, but she can't pay the price of oblivion.

She says that even in death, there will still be a price for oblivion.
