Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon's name means Thrust, First Lineage. Thrust was one of the founders of the colony, alongside his compatriots in the First Lineage. He has a penchant for exploration, and was the first to set foot in the valley that the Lineage—the name of the colony—now calls home. This makes him rather famous, particularly among the youngest of his brethren; however, he dislikes attention and prefers to spend his time racing woodland creatures through the nearby forests. Of course, he always wins.
