Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dawson is a very vain and egotistical dragon who finds himself to be the most handsome Falconiform in the world. Naturally, this can't be true, but if one were to try to tell Dawson this fact, he would most likely just ignore them and pretend they don't exist. It's not the most desirable characteristic, but thankfully Dawson has never been interested in having companions or friends.

When Dawson was just a hatchling, he thought he had one friend, but sadly he learned that the reflective pool of water that showed him how beautiful he was, wasn't really alive.
