White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aexir came highly recommended by the Goldenmage Assembly. Norivan would have been more suspicious of this if Dragonhaven Island hadn't been on reasonably good terms with the Goldenmage Assembly by that point. Aexir displays a greater knowledge of magical mishaps and maladies than is healthy for any one dragon to possess, especially a non-magi, and is disconcertingly familiar with some of the unpleasant side-effects that can result from wandering into the wrong part of Dragonhaven Island's spell-twisted forest. When asked about her past experience, Aexir will reply with an evasive or clearly (entertainingly) false answer. Whatever her background, Aexir's no-nonsense approach to healing has proven invaluable on several occasions, even if her bedside manner leaves something to be desired.
