Yellow-Crowned Dragons are found in the hottest, driest regions of the desert. Although they thrive in these conditions, they do very poorly in cold or humid climates. These dragons are very fast fliers and skilled hunters, and usually feed on small, quick desert antelope. Yellow-Crowned Dragons are diurnal, and spend the night in underground burrows they dig or steal from other creatures. They are often seen out sunning themselves in the early morning sun, waiting for the heat of the day to set in.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Flavus Textura is a highly skilled dragon, proficient especially in her hunting abilities, something shared with most other Yellow-Crowned dragons. Flavus's name means "yellow texture" in Latin. Flavus goes out to hunt at dawn and dusk, and she spends the rest of the time sleeping or taking part in the clan's menial tasks.

She is somewhat territorial, and if one dragon were to come a bit too close to her hoard for her comfort, she would lash out and strike the trespasser. Because of this, the other dragons within the clan know that it is best to give Flavus and her hoard space.

Being a skilled hunter, Flavus also excels in battle, and she can often be seen training with other clan members. While she does not have much patience when it comes to the hatchlings and their mischievous, energetic ways, Flavus does help teach them how to fight and defend themselves.

Flavus has some trouble socially within the clan; luckily for her, several other dragons share her interests.
