Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Being in the presence of this rather intimidating dragon causes your hair to stand on end—not for fear, but rather simply due to the powerful charge he seems to always hold. Other dragons avoid him rather carefully, not out of dislike, but out of care to not accidentally cause a spark to arc from this fellow's body onto their own. Curious hatchlings that get too close are often seen speeding away shortly afterwards, sizzling from a nasty zap on the nose or tail. For all that, he doesn't seem to mind too much. He occasionally ventures out to the higher mountain peaks to socialize with others more like him, although Rai Tsume seldom pauses long enough to be much friendship. Most often he is found following him through stormclouds, relieved to let off a little of his excess charge as the lightning strikes, or flying swiftly through the cold reaches of the sky with Cerauno and chasing the wind.
