Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pale Man is an Albino dragon of an unknown age. Since he doesn't live with his clan, very little is known about this mysterious dragon. All the others know is that he lives in an ancient castle in northern Drakeville, which he supposedly never leaves. The children and hatchlings of the town are warned never to go near this castle, because legend has it that this seemingly ageless Albino lives there who eats young dragons and children. Once, a young boy and his pet Mint hatchling ventured too close to the castle and were missing for several days. Found a few days later in the forest by a hitchhiker, they said that they saw an Albino who tried to kill them, but he had no eyes on his face, and instead had them on the palms of his claws. The two narrowly escaped, unlike several other missing children who have had the terrible misfortune of meeting the Pale Man.
