Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Despite being a Valentines Day dragon, Cordelia is rather alone. She can make people pair up almost like magic, but her love is far away. Doctor Allons-y, when not going on about how awesome he is, is sticking his head in alchemy and ignoring everything else. She now forces herself to believe that he doesn't like her, so she completely closes off her options of anyone else. Nobody will be as perfect as he is.

She's a very talented illusionist and fire mage. Cordelia may have tried to use these to get the Doctor's attentions, but if other dragons bring that up around her, she tends to set them on fire.
